Tyler Smith (born April 3, 2001) is an American football offensive guard for the Dallas Cowboys of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Tulsa and was selected by the Cowboys in the first round of the 2022 NFL draft. Early years Smith grew up in Fort Worth, Texas and attended North Crowley High School. He was rated a three-star recruit and initially committed to play college football at Abilene Christian. Smith decommitted and signed to play at Tulsa over offers from Houston, Navy, and New Mexico. College career Smith redshirted the 2019 season, playing in the final four games with two starts as a true freshman. In 2020, Smith started all nine games at left tackle for Tulsa during the team's COVID-19-shortened 2020 season and was named first-team all-American Athletic Conference (AAC). Tyler Douglas Smith (born July 1, 1991) is an American former professional baseball infielder. He played in Major League Baseball for the Seattle Mariners. Career Amateur Smith attended Thousand Oaks High School in Thousand Oaks, California and played college baseball at Oregon State University. In 2012, he played collegiate summer baseball in the Cape Cod Baseball League for the Brewster Whitecaps. Seattle Mariners Smith was drafted by the Seattle Mariners in the 8th round (237th overall) of the 2013 draft. After 3 seasons playing for rookie league, single and Double-A affiliates in the Mariner organization, he was in Triple-A Tacoma for all of 2016 and 2017 until he was called to the Major Leagues on June 2, 2017 after an ankle injury to Jean Segura the previous game. David Tyler Smith (born September 4, 1986) is an American basketball player who last played for Elitzur Eito Ashkelon of the Israeli National League. He played college basketball for Iowa and Tennessee, but his college career came to an end when he was dismissed from the Tennessee program in January 2010. He also earned the Bertelkamp Basketball Scholarship Endowment Fund and the Dane Bradshaw Endowed Athletic Scholarship. Tyler Smith (born August 9, 1986), also known by his nickname Telle, is an American musician and songwriter. He is currently the lead vocalist of Arizona metalcore band The Word Alive and has played in several bands, such as Greeley Estates and In Fear and Faith. He is known for his tenor singing voice, wide vocal range and ability to comprehensively alternate between melodic and screamed vocals. Musical career Smith joined In Fear and Faith as one of their two lead vocalists in May 2007 to replace founding vocalist Jarred DeArmas. Smith performed on the band's debut release ''Voyage'' and was a member of the band until January 2008 (a month after the release of the EP), when he joined Phoenix, Arizona-based Greeley Estates as bassist.
