Tyler Scott
Tyler Scott, (born September 21, 1985 in Windsor, Ontario) is a wide receiver in the Canadian Football League who last played for the Edmonton Eskimos. He attended the University of Western Ontario as a geography major and intends to pursue teaching. He was drafted in the 2008 CFL Draft by the Toronto Argonauts. Professional career Scott's first game in the CFL was the pre-season game against the Montreal Alouettes on June 12, 2008, where he had two receptions for 20 yards for the Argonauts. Assistant General Manager Greg Mohns was impressed with his dedication, size, and movement. "He studied the playbook and he has not made a lot of mental mistakes," Mohns said following the first game. "He has a chance to make the final roster." In gridiron football, a reception, also known informally as a catch, is part of a passing play in which a player in bounds successfully catches (receives) a forward pass thrown from a friendly quarterback behind the line of scrimmage. Derico "Rico" Murray (born August 21, 1988) is an American former professional gridiron football defensive back and linebacker. He was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals as an undrafted free agent in 2011. He played college football at Kent State. Gregory R. Mohns (May 1, 1950 – July 25, 2012) was a football executive and coach who served as the Assistant General Manager and Director of Player Personnel of the Toronto Argonauts until February 19, 2010. Career Mohns was born in Pasadena, California an offensive lineman at Bradley University from 1968–1969 and Baker University from 1970-1971. He was a graduate assistant at Oklahoma State University in 1972. In 1973, he was hired as a full-time assistant coach until June 1977. Mohns was hired as an assistant coach at Arizona State by Frank Kush from 1977-1980. In 1980, Mohns became the head coach at Ventura College, where he posted a 15-3-2 overall record in his two season as head coach. Mohns was hired by the Kansas City Chiefs as a talent scout in 1983. The Montreal Alouettes (Canadian French, French: Les Alouettes de Montréal) are a professional Canadian football team based in Montreal, Quebec. Founded in 1946, the team has folded and been revived twice.
