Tyler Coffey
Tyler Coffey (born January 24, 1976) is a musician and record producer based in Seattle, Washington, and Los Angeles, California. He is known for playing guitar in "With Friends Like These" who signed to Sound vs. Silence Records in 2009. Their debut, Dead and Gone, was mixed by Barrett Jones (Foo Fighters, Nirvana (band), Nirvana, Pearl Jam). Soon after the release of the record, the band took a hiatus to pursue other things. Coffey is also a part-time player and contributor to Brad (band), Brad, featuring Shawn Smith (musician), Shawn Smith and Stone Gossard. In 2012 he created and executive produced "One Night Only" a television pilot featuring up and coming bands, collaborating with better known acts. He is currently working on pre-production for his first feature-length film, tentatively titled Conor Wayne which he wrote and will direct. The film is set to shoot in December 2018. Matt Bayles
Matt Bayles (born October 19, 1972) is an American record producer, mixer, engineer, and musician, based in Seattle, Washington. Bayles (pronounced 'Bay-Less') is known for his work with bands such as The Classic Crime, Isis, Soundgarden, Pearl Jam, Botch, Mastodon, Minus the Bear, Burnt by the Sun, and Norma Jean and as the keyboardist for American indie rock band, Minus the Bear. Early years Bayles' career began with interning in Nashville, Tennessee. Eventually moving on to engineering country demo sessions with session musician, Bayles learned the ropes of the recording studio. After deciding Nashville wasn't the place to land, Bayles moved to Seattle, Washington. Satchel (band)
Satchel was an alternative rock band from Seattle. Their final lineup featured Shawn Smith (vocals, piano, guitar, bass), Regan Hagar (drums, bass), and John Hoag (guitar, bass). History Satchel was originally formed under the name Bliss by vocalist Shawn Smith and drummer Regan Hagar, after their previous band Brad (which also featured guitarist Stone Gossard) went on hiatus. They recruited guitarist John Hoag, bassist Cory Kane and Jefferson Bennett on saxophone. However they were met with a copyright name challenge. As a result, they settled on the name Satchel. Bennett left the band. Satchel released their first album ''EDC'' in 1994. Analog recording is a technique used for the recording of analog signals which, among many possibilities, allows analog audio for later playback. Analog audio recording began with mechanical systems such as the phonautograph and phonograph. Later, electronic techniques such as wire and tape recording were developed. Analog recording methods store analog signals directly in or on the media. The signal may be stored as a physical texture on a phonograph record, or a fluctuation in the field strength of a magnetic recording.
