Perniö (; ) is a former municipality of Finland. It was consolidated with Salo on January 1, 2009. It is located in the province of Western Finland and is part of the Southwest Finland region. Teijo National Park
Teijo National Park (, ) is a national park in Southwest Finland, Finland in the Perniö area of Salo municipality. The park was established on January 1, 2015, and covers an area of . It is maintained by Metsähallitus. In the National Park, there is one eutrophic fen, which is a type of mire that has almost disappeared in southern Finland. The forests are mainly young managed pine forests. The park is also home for several species of freshwater fish, nesting birds including goose, cranes, sandpipers and grouse; and mammals such as moose and deer. There are approximately of marked trails in the park, including of trails for physically disabled persons. Included in the national park are historical industrial areas, including a former iron works area in Kirjakkala. The iron works contain many log houses from the 1800s which have been renovated to their original state. Angelniemi
Angelniemi () is a former municipality of Finland. It became part of Halikko in 1967. It was located on partly on the continent by the Halikonlahti Bay and partly on Kimito Island and is still nowadays the only part of the island where Finnish is the primary language. Today the population of the area is 398, but it rises during the summer because of the summer cottages. The center of the municipality was Kokkila, which lies on the continent. There is a cable ferry which connects Kokkila to the Kimito Island. Other isles of Angelniemi are Angelansaari, Kokkilansaari, Pikkusaari and Karhusaari. Angelniemi congregation was established 1657 as a chapel of Halikko. Angelniemi became independent 1916 and it reached its high in 1957 at 1,217 people. In 1967 Angelniemi was merged back to Halikko. Kimitoön (; ; ) is a municipality and island of Finland. It was created on 1 January 2009, when the municipalities of Dragsfjärd, Kimito and Västanfjärd were consolidated into a single municipality. The former municipal councils accepted the merger on 26 June 2007. The municipality is located in the Archipelago Sea in the Southwest Finland region.
