Albert Tye
Albert Edward Tye (1883 – 25 January 1917) was an English professional footballer who played in the Football League for Chesterfield Town and Burton United as a left half and left back. Personal life Following his football career, Tye lived in Burton upon Trent and worked as a painter. On 22 January 1915, six months after the outbreak of the First World War, Tye enlisted as a private in the Prince of Wales's (North Staffordshire Regiment). Tye McGinn
Tye McGinn (born July 29, 1990) is a Canadian professional ice hockey left winger for ERC Ingolstadt of the Deutsche Eishockey Liga (DEL). He is the brother of Jamie and Brock McGinn. Playing career McGinn was drafted in the fourth round (119th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft by the Philadelphia Flyers. After his third season of playing in the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League for the Gatineau Olympiques, he signed a three-year entry level contract with the Flyers on July 14, 2011. McGinn made his NHL debut on January 22, 2013 against the New Jersey Devils. His first goal was scored two games later, on January 26, 2013, against Jose Theodore of the Florida Panthers. On February 16, 2014, McGinn was involved in a brawl with Connor Murphy and the Portland Pirates. McGinn repeatedly punched Murphy at center ice. Wellington (later known as Tye) was a small unincorporated railroad community in the northwest United States, on the Great Northern Railway in northeastern King County, Washington. Founded in 1893, it was located in the Cascade Range at the west portal of the original Cascade Tunnel under Stevens Pass. It was the site of the 1910 Wellington avalanche, the worst in U.S. history, in which 96 people died. 1910 avalanche The Wellington avalanche was the deadliest avalanche in the history of the United States, marked by the total death count of 96. Tye is a city in Taylor County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,242 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Abilene, Texas Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Tye is located at (32.453324, –99.866993). According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 4.7 square miles (12.1 km), all land. Elliott Tyrone Waller (born March 14, 1957) or more commonly known as Tye Waller or Ty Waller, is a former Major League Baseball third baseman. He was also a coach for the Oakland Athletics from 2007 to 2015. Playing career Waller was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the 33rd round of the 1975 Major League Baseball Draft, but did not sign. He was drafted by the St. Louis Cardinals in the 4th round of the 1977 January amateur draft, and signed in May.
