Ty Blach
Tyson Michael Blach ( ; born October 20, 1990) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Colorado Rockies organization. He has previously played in MLB for the San Francisco Giants, Baltimore Orioles and Colorado Rockies. Career Amateur career Blach played baseball and tennis for Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, Colorado. He then attended Creighton University, where he played college baseball for the Creighton Bluejays. San Francisco Giants The San Francisco Giants selected Blach in the fifth round (178th overall) of the 2012 Major League Baseball draft. He made his professional debut in 2013 for the San Jose Giants. In 22 games (20 starts), he went 12–4 with a 2.90 earned run average (ERA), 117 strikeouts and 18 base on balls in innings. In baseball, the pitcher is the player who throws ("pitches") the baseball from the pitcher's mound toward the catcher to begin each play, with the goal of retiring a batter, who attempts to either make contact with the pitched ball or draw a walk. San Jose Giants
The San Jose Giants are a Minor League Baseball team of the California League and the Single-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Located in San Jose, California, the Giants play their home games at Excite Ballpark. Games San Jose Giants games are very much rooted in the older traditions of baseball. Norfolk Tides
The Norfolk Tides are a Minor League Baseball team of the International League and the Triple-A affiliate of the Baltimore Orioles. They are located in Norfolk, Virginia, and are named in nautical reference to the city's location on the Chesapeake Bay. The team plays their home games at Harbor Park, which opened in 1993. The Tides previously played at High Rock Park in 1961 and 1962, Frank D. Lawrence Stadium from 1961 to 1969, and at Met Park from its opening in 1970 until the end of the 1992 season. Originally known as the Portsmouth-Norfolk Tides, the team began play in 1961 as members of the Class A South Atlantic League. Madison Kyle Bumgarner (born August 1, 1989), commonly known by his nickname, "MadBum", is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Arizona Diamondbacks of Major League Baseball (MLB). Sacramento River Cats
The Sacramento River Cats are a Minor League Baseball team of the Pacific Coast League (PCL) and are the Triple-A affiliate of the San Francisco Giants. Prior to 2015, the River Cats were the Triple-A affiliate of the Oakland Athletics for 15 years. They are based in West Sacramento, California, and play their home games at Sutter Health Park which opened in 2000 and was known as Raley Field through 2019. The Richmond Flying Squirrels are a Minor League Baseball team based in Richmond, Virginia.
