Two Sons Of Ringo
''Two Sons of Ringo'' ( it, I due figli di Ringo) is a List of Italian films of 1966, 1966 Cinema of Italy, Italian western-parody film starring the comic duo Franco and Ciccio. It was the last film directed by Giorgio Simonelli who, for health reasons, left the production just before the end of filming and was replaced by Giuliano Carnimeo. Plot Franco and Ciccio leave Agrigento, in Sicily, to search of their fortune in the American West. In the land of cowboys and dueling weapons, they pretend to be skilled thieves and gunmen under the names Django and Gringo. When they meet a big shot, Franco and Ciccio are forced to live their roles and pretend to be the children of the great gunslinger Ringo. Giorgio Simonelli (14 November 1901 Birth name: Giorgio Simonelli. – 3 October 1966), was an Italian film director, editor, screenwriter and journalist. Life and career Born in Rome, Simonelli obtained a high school diploma in business studies, then he started working as a journalist, and even as a film critic, for the weekly magazines ''Avvenimento'' and ''Gente nostra''. In 1928, at 22, he made his directorial debut co-directing with Nicola Fausto Neroni ''Maratona'' and two years later he was among the screenwriters of the first Italian talking film, ''The Song of Love (1930 film), The Song of Love'' by Gennaro Righelli. Ignazio Spalla (best known as Pedro Sanchez; 5 May 1924 – 9 February 1995) was an Italian film actor. Born in Siena, Spalla was mainly active in Spaghetti Westerns, usually playing roles of Mexicans, gunfighters and outlaws. His first roles of weight were in 1965, in Marino Girolami's ''Bullet in the Flesh'' and in Giorgio Ferroni's ''Blood for a Silver Dollar''. In the 1970s he focused his activity in the subgenre of comic spaghetti, and his career basically declined together with Italo-Western. Outside this genre, Spalla's credits include Eduardo De Filippo's '' Shoot Loud, Louder... Nino Terzo
Nino Terzo (22 May 1923 – 8 May 2005) was an Italian actor. Life and career Born in Palermo as Antonino Terzo, he worked intensively in the avanspettacolo and revue theater, entering the stage companies of Totò, Peppino De Filippo, Franco and Ciccio, Domenico Modugno, among others. Terzo was also active as a singer, appearing in several operettas. Terzo made his film debut in 1962, and he soon established himself as one of the most active character actors in the Italian comedy cinema, usually playing, with small variations, the character that made him famous in avanspettacolo, i.e. a man with extremely slow reflexes and a huge speech impediment, which does not allow him to speak before he loudly inhaled and exhaled. He retired in 1992 for health reasons. Ivano Staccioli (3 January 1927 – 15 July 1995) was an Italian film actor. Staccioli made 70 appearances between 1960 and 1991, mostly in film. He is best known for his appearances in historical adventures and action or western films in the 1960s. Particularly in the early 1960s he appeared in many gladiatorial films or ancient epics.
