Twins are a Hong Kong Cantopop duo that was created in the summer of 2001 by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG). Twins are made up of two girls, Charlene Choi (蔡卓妍) and Gillian Chung (鍾欣潼).Kar, Law. Mandopop
Mandopop or Mandapop refers to Standard Chinese, Mandarin popular music. The genre has its origin in the jazz-influenced popular music of 1930s Shanghai known as Shidaiqu; with later influences coming from Japanese enka, Hong Kong's Cantopop, Taiwan's Hokkien pop, and in particular the School campus song, Campus Song folk movement of the 1970s. 'Mandopop' may be used as a general term to describe popular songs performed in Mandarin. Everyone Bounce
''Everyone Bounce'' is the fifth greatest hits album by Hong Kong cantopop girl duo Twins. It consists of 32 songs on two CDs. The first CD has 16 tracks including the new song, "Everyone Bounces Up". The second disc contains the new song "Growth". It was released in March 2010 along with Gillian's debut EP ''Gillian''. Background Twins break up in March, 2008, because of Edison Chen photo scandal involving Gillian Chung. In July 2008, Charlene Choi said that she was optimistic and that she got to handle the media. Later, Chung apologized to Choi because of a lot of things that happened. Twins get together again in early 2010, when they do the small performance in luxury hotel The Venetian Macao on February 27. Charlene Choi
Charlene Choi Tsoek-jin ( zh, t=蔡卓妍; born 22 November 1982) is a Hong Kong Canadian actress and singer. She is a member of Cantopop group Twins, along with Gillian Chung. Early life Choi was born in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. She moved with her family to Hong Kong a few years later. She was educated at Marymount Secondary School and Rosaryhill School (high school). She is fluent in Cantonese, English and Mandarin. After graduating from Rosaryhill School, where many other would-be pop stars had attended, she started working full-time as a model in Hong Kong. She was scouted by Emperor Entertainment Group (EEG), and was then linked with Gillian Chung to form the Cantopop group Twins.
