Tweety Carter
Demond "Tweety" Carter (born October 25, 1986) is an American professional basketball player who last played for Start Lublin of the Polish Basketball League. He played college basketball for Baylor University. High school career Tweety Carter had one of the greatest high school careers in the history of the sport while attending Reserve Christian School in Reserve, Louisiana. In six years playing varsity Carter scored 7,457 points, making him the highest scoring high school player in U.S. history, leading the Eagles to five state championships. Carter was named McDonald's All-American, ''Parade'' All-American (third team), Jordan All-American, EA Sports All-American and MaxPreps All-American following senior season in 2006. The point guard (PG), also called the one or the point, is one of the five Basketball positions, positions in a regulation basketball game. A point guard has perhaps the most specialized role of any position. Start Lublin, more commonly known as Polski Cukier Pszczółka Start Lublin because of sponsporship reasons, is a Polish basketball club based in Lublin. The team plays in the Polish Basketball League (PLK) since 2014. Its home arena is the Globus, which has places for 5,000 people. The basketball team is a part of MKS Start Lublin, which also holds chess and athletics sections. History MKS Start Lublin was founded in 1953, along with the basketball team. In the NCAA Men's Division I Basketball Championship or the NCAA Women's Division I Basketball Championship, the "Elite Eight" comprises the final eight teams, representing the regional finals, or national quarterfinals. Patrick Dennehy
The murder of Patrick Dennehy, an American college basketball player for Baylor University, occurred on June 12, 2003, when he was shot by Baylor teammate Carlton Dotson. The murder set off a chain of events which led to the Baylor basketball scandal, in which the university's men's basketball program was investigated and punished for numerous infractions by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Polska Liga Koszykówki (PLK) (English language, English: Polish Basketball League) is a professional men's club basketball list of basketball leagues, league in Poland. It constitutes the first and highest-tier level of the Polish basketball league system, Polish league pyramid. The winning team of the final round are crowned the Polish Champions of that season.
