Tuscany Camp
Tuscany Camp is an elite athletics camp located in San Rocco a Pilli, Siena Province, Italy. History In 2014, Tuscany Camp was founded by Italian athletics coach and manager Giuseppe Giambrone. Tuscany Camp has also partnered with the Uganda Athletics Federation (UAF) since 2014. UAF has sent various Ugandan athletes to Tuscany Camp for training and medical care, including Boniface Toroitich Kiprop. Tuscany Camp also supports Bukwo Training Camp, a running camp in Bukwo, Uganda that was founded and managed by Italian sports manager Flavio Pascalato in 2014. Facilities Tuscany Camp's main campus is based at the 18th-century Borghesi Bighi Villa. The camp has a medical and physiotherapy center, established in 2011 prior to the official incorporation of the camp. Jacob Kiplimo (born 14 November 2000) is a Ugandan long-distance runner. He is Athletics at the 2020 Summer Olympics, 2020 Tokyo Olympic 10,000 metres bronze medallist and also won bronze in the event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Kiplimo earned gold medals in the 5000 metres and 10,000 m at the Athletics at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, 2022 Commonwealth Games.
