Turrentine Jones are an English indie rock band formed in 2012 in Manchester, UK. The band consists of Julian Neville (guitar/vocals), Joe Chilstone-Vause (bass) and Rich Watts (drums/backing vocals). They have released one studio album: ''Our Days'' (2014) and one live album ''Live in York'' (2015) as well as two singles. The band cites Booker T. and the MGs, Booker T. & the MG's, The Mar-Keys and the Rolling Stones as influences. The band has been labelled a "Future Classic" and described as "infectious blues-rock" by national radio station, Real Radio XS and proclaimed by Hattie Pearson of XFM to be "one of Manchester’s finest exports in recent times". The Sziget Festival ( hu, Sziget Fesztivál, ; "Sziget" for "Island") is one of the largest Music festival, music and cultural festivals in Europe. It is held every August in northern Budapest, Hungary, on Óbuda Island, Óbudai-sziget ("Old Buda Island"), a leafy 108-hectare (266-acre) island on the Danube. More than 1,000 performances take place each year. The week-long festival has grown from a relatively low-profile student event in 1993 to become one of the prominent European rock festivals, with about half of all visitors coming from outside Hungary, especially from Western Europe. Danielle Perry
Danielle Perry (born 4 June 1980) is an English radio presenter and musician. Perry studied for her BA (Hons) Music degree at Southampton University. After graduating, she started doing her apprenticeship / making the tea at various local radio stations on the south coast of England. Radio After a few years fronting shows on Power and Ocean FM for GCap Media, Perry moved to The Coast (CanWest Media) where she met triple Sony-award-winning presenters Simon James and Hill. It was not long before Perry was invited up to Kerrang! Radio to join them on the breakfast show, which went on to win a bronze Sony Radio Award. Following success on the breakfast show, Perry was promoted to the daytime presenter at West Midlands station Kerrang! Queen are a British rock band formed in London in 1970 by Freddie Mercury (lead vocals, piano), Brian May (guitar, vocals) and Roger Taylor (Queen drummer), Roger Taylor (drums, vocals), later joined by John Deacon (bass). Their earliest works were influenced by progressive rock, hard rock and Heavy metal music, heavy metal, but the band gradually ventured into more conventional and radio-friendly works by incorporating further styles, such as arena rock and pop rock. The Tramlines Festival is an annual music festival held in Sheffield, UK. The festival was originally free to attend, but now requires tickets. The line-up consists of national and local artists.
