Nabran
Nabran is the municipality of the capital city of the Khachmaz region which is located in Khachmaz Rayon of Azerbaijan, close to the Russia-Azerbaijan border. It has a population of 300,000. The municipality consists of the following villages Nabran, Dalğalı, Turist, Meşəli, Günəşli, Samurçay, and Şimal. Nabran is the largest region within the Khachmaz Rayon. Nabran is a 3-hour drive from the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, and is located on the Caspian seashore in a subtropical forestland. The settlement covers several kilometers. Tourism The village is located in a northeast part of Azerbaijan on the bank of Caspian Sea and is surrounded by forest. Nabran has a resort zone, and tourists are attracted by the climate, which remains moderate throughout the year: it is dry and warm in summer and wet in winter, but it is not especially frosty. Azerbaijan is administratively divided into 66 districts () and 11 cities () that are subordinate to the Republic. Khachmaz Rayon
Khachmaz District ( az, Xaçmaz rayonu; lez, Хъачмаз район) is one of the 66 districts of Azerbaijan. It is located in the north-east of the country and belongs to the Guba-Khachmaz Economic Region. The district borders the districts of Qusar, Quba, Shabran, and the Russian Republic of Dagestan. Its capital and largest city is Khachmaz. As of 2020, the district had a population of 179,800. History Khachmaz is one of the border districts of Azerbaijan in the north of the republic. The district was established on August 8, 1930, as an administrative territory.
