Turbo (Sirius XM)
Sirius XM Turbo is a commercial-free music channel that plays 1990s and 2000s hard rock and airs on SIRIUS XM Radio, Sirius XM Radio and Dish Network. It airs on channel 41 on SIRIUS XM Radio, Sirius XM Radio. History Turbo made its debut on August 17, 2017, as a full-time channel devoted to hard rock from artists like Metallica, System of a Down, Linkin Park and more. PopRocks (Sirius XM), PopRocks, which slots in on channel 17, plays lighter rock music from the 1990s and 2000s, a la Goo Goo Dolls, Train (band), Train and Sheryl Crow; while Turbo, channel 41 (after a try-out as a streaming-only station), offers hard rock music from Linkin Park, Metallica and System of a Down. Sirius XM Holdings Inc. is an American broadcasting company headquartered in Midtown Manhattan, New York City that provides satellite radio and online radio services operating in the United States. It was formed by the 2008 merger of Sirius Satellite Radio and XM Satellite Radio, merging them into SiriusXM Radio. "One Step Closer" is the debut single by the American rock band Linkin Park. Released as the first single and second track of their debut album, ''Hybrid Theory'', the song was featured in the 2008 music video games '' Rock Band 2'' and '' Guitar Hero On Tour: Decades'', and the end credits of the 2000 film ''Dracula 2000''. Deftones
Deftones is an American alternative metal band formed in Sacramento, California in 1988. They were formed by Chino Moreno (vocals, guitar), Stephen Carpenter (guitar), Abe Cunningham (drums), and Dominic Garcia (bass). During their first five years, the band's lineup changed several times, but stabilized in 1993 when Cunningham rejoined after his departure in 1990; by this time, Chi Cheng was bassist. Chevelle (band)
Chevelle is an American rock band formed in Grayslake, Illinois, in 1995. The band was originally composed of two brothers, Pete Loeffler (lead vocals and guitar) and Sam Loeffler (drums and percussion), along with Matt Scott (bass and backing vocals). Scott was replaced by Sam and Pete's brother, Joe Loeffler, in 1996. When Joe left the band in 2005, Geno Lenardo subbed in as the touring bassist until he was replaced by Pete and Sam's brother-in-law, Dean Bernardini. Audioslave was an American Rock music, rock supergroup (music), supergroup formed in Glendale, California, in 2001. The four-piece band consisted of Soundgarden's lead singer and rhythm guitarist Chris Cornell with Rage Against the Machine members Tom Morello (lead guitar), Tim Commerford (bass/backing vocals), and Brad Wilk (drums). Adema
Adema is an American rock band from Bakersfield, California. The band formed in 2000 with members vocalist Mark Chavez, guitarist Tim Fluckey, guitarist Mike Ransom, bassist Dave DeRoo, and drummer Kris Kohls. After their first two albums, ''Adema'', and ''Unstable'', the band was plagued with years of conflict and lineup changes. Ransom left the band in 2003 followed by Chavez later in 2004 due to conflicts between themselves and other members of the band. Luke Caraccioli replaced Chavez in early 2005 for one album, ''Planets'', but then left a few months later in late 2005.
