Augusto Turati
Augusto Turati (16 April 1888 – 27 August 1955) was an Italian journalist and Fascist politician. Born in Parma, after moving to Brescia as a young man, Turati worked on newspapers and became one of the editors at the liberal ''Provincia di Brescia''; he attended law classes, but never graduated. An irredentist and advocate of Italy entering World War I, he volunteered for the front in 1915. In 1918, he returned to Brescia as head editor of the same newspaper. In 1920, he joined the '' Fasci Italiani di Combattimento'' - a year later, the National Fascist Party (''Partito Nazionale Fascista'', or PNF). Active in trade unionism for the régime-backed corporatist enterprises, Turati was a secretary for the Brescia '' Fascio''. In 1926-1930, he was secretary of the PNF, helping in the consolidation of Benito Mussolini's rule. Emilio Turati (27 October 1858 – 23 September 1938) was an Italian entomologist who specialised in Lepidoptera. He is not to be confused with Ernesto Turati and Gianfranco Turati. Count Emilio Turati wrote 67 scientific papers mainly on the Lepidoptera of Italy and the Mediterranean area. He described many new taxa. Turati was a friend of Attilio Fiori. Filippo Turati
Filippo Turati (; 26 November 1857 – 29 March 1932) was an Italian sociologist, criminologist, poet and socialist politician. Early life Born in Canzo, province of Como, he graduated in law at the University of Bologna in 1877, and participated in the ''Scapigliatura'' movement with the most important artists of the period in Milan, publishing poetry. His ''Inno dei Lavoratori'' ("Workers' Hymn"), adapted to music, became the most popular song of the nascent labor movement. Turati became interested in politics, being attracted to the democratic movement before joining the more specific Socialist groups. His most important sociological work of this period is ''Il Delitto e la Questione Sociale'', in which he examines how social conditions affect crime. Hercules Turati
Count Hercules Turati or Ercole Turati (1829 –1881, Milano) was a wealthy Milanese banker and naturalist. He purchased natural history specimens and built up a very large private collection of more than 20,000 bird specimens, mostly mounted, which include the now extinct Great Auk. The Museo Civico di Storia Naturale di Milano was constructed to house the specimens that his heirs donated to the city after his death. A large number of specimens were however destroyed during an air raid in 1943. Stefano Turati (born 5 September 2001) is an Italian professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for club Monza, on loan from Sassuolo. Club career Starting his youth career at Inter Milan, Turati moved to Serie C side Renate in 2017, where he played both in the youth team and as a third-choice goalkeeper in the senior team. Without making his first team debut, Turati moved to Serie A side Sassuolo the following year, where he played as the main goalkeeper in the youth team. On 1 December 2019, aged 18, Turati made his professional debut against Juventus in the league, in a 2–2 draw away from home. On 13 July 2021, he joined Reggina on a season-long loan.
