Tunnsjø Senter
Tunnsjø senter is a village located in the Nordli area of the municipality of Lierne in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is named for its location near the large lake Tunnsjøen. The village sits just west of the border with Sweden. It is the main village area in the far northern part of Lierne, and it is rather isolated from the rest of the municipality. To drive from this part of Lierne to the rest of Lierne, one would need to drive south about through Sweden and back into Norway. Tunnsjø Chapel is located in the village. Nordli
Nordli is a former municipality in the old Nord-Trøndelag county in Norway. The municipality existed from 1915 until its dissolution in 1964. Nordli encompassed the northern part of what is now the municipality of Lierne in Trøndelag county. The administrative centre for the municipality was the village of Sandvika where the Nordli Church is located. History The municipality of Nordli was established on 1 July 1915 when the old municipality of Lierne was split in two parts: Nordli (population: 863) in the north and Sørli (population: 739) in the south. The old municipality of Lierne had been created on 1 January 1874 when it was separated from the large municipality of Snåsa. During the 1960s, there were many municipal mergers across Norway due to the work of the Schei Committee. Ingelsvatnet or Ingjelsvatnet is a lake in the municipality of Lierne in Trøndelag county, Norway. The lake lies only from the south shore of the large lake Tunnsjøen and west of the village of Tunnsjø senter. The water flows out through a series of small lakes and streams that lead into Tunnsjøen. The lake Havdalsvatnet lies south of Ingelsvatnet. Limingen
or is a lake in the municipalities of Røyrvik and Lierne in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is the Lakes in Norway#Largest lakes, eighth-largest lake in the country. The lake lies above sea level and has an area of . At the deepest point, it is deep and averages about deep. The lake has a volume of and is located just north of the large lake Tunnsjøen. The border with Sweden lies about east of the lake. The lake level is regulated by dams. The Røyrvikelva river flows into the north end of Limingen from the lake Vektaren, through a dam. The water flows out through a tunnel to Røyrvikfoss Power Station, at the village of Røyrvik (village), Røyrvik. Tunnsjø Chapel
Tunnsjø Chapel ( no, Tunnsjø kapell) is a chapel of the Church of Norway in Lierne municipality in Trøndelag county, Norway. It is located in the village of Tunnsjø senter. It is an annex chapel for the Nordli parish which is part of the Namdal prosti (deanery) in the Diocese of Nidaros. The white, wooden, Neo-Gothic church was built in a long church style in 1876 using plans drawn up by the architect Carl Julius Bergstrøm. The chapel seats about 100 people. The church was consecrated on 22 April 1876.
