Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim
Tunku Abdul Aziz bin Tunku Ibrahim (; 22 January 1934 – 7 February 2023) was a Malaysian corporate figure, activist and politician. He held numerous roles in the worldwide anti-corruption movement, most prominently as vice-chairman of the board of directors of Transparency International. Biography Tunku Abdul Aziz Tunku Ibrahim was born in Alor Setar, Kedah in 1934. He was a distant member of the Kedah royal family. His father was an officer in the Kedah state police. Tunku Aziz helped found Transparency International-Malaysia, the local chapter of Transparency International (TI) in 1998. In March that year, he was elected vice-chairman of TI's board of directors, a position he held until October 2002. The Malaysian Bar (Malay: Badan Peguam Malaysia) is a professional body which regulates the profession of lawyers in Peninsular Malaysia, peninsular Malaysia. Pakatan Rakyat
The People's Alliance ( ms, Pakatan Rakyat; abbrev: PR) was an informal Malaysian political coalition and successor to Barisan Alternatif (BA). The political coalition was formed by the People's Justice Party (PKR), Democratic Action Party (DAP), and Pan-Malaysian Islamic Party (PAS) on 1 April 2008, after the 12th Malaysian general election, having previously formed the Barisan Alternatif (Alternative Front) in the 10th general election. On 20 April 2010, the Sarawak National Party (SNAP) officially joined as a member of the Pakatan Rakyat after being expelled from Barisan Nasional, but quit the coalition on 6 May 2011.
