Tung Tau Estate
Tung Tau Estate () is a public housing estate and Tenants Purchase Scheme estate in the south of Wong Tai Sin, located between San Po Kong and Kowloon City, in Hong Kong. It was first built in the 1960s as resettlement housing, but has since been reconstructed. It was divided into Tung Tau (I) Estate () and Tung Tau (II) Estate (). The sole remaining housing block of Tung Tau (I) Estate was subsequently demolished. Tung Tau (II) Estate has 20 blocks built during the redevelopment in the 1980s and the 1990s. Background In the 1960s, Tung Tau Estate was built as a resettlement estate which had a total of 23 blocks (21 Mark II and two Mark IV blocks). Mark II blocks were rudimentary structures built to fulfil emergency housing needs, while the other two blocks were of the Old Slab typology. Wong Tai Sin, Hong Kong
Wong Tai Sin is an area in Wong Tai Sin District, New Kowloon, Hong Kong. The area was named after the Wong Tai Sin Temple. The area was previously known as Chuk Yuen or Chuk Un, prior to the intake of two Wong Tai Sin Estates. The populace of the estates, the prosperity of Wong Tai Sin Temple and the completion of Wong Tai Sin MTR station gradually eclipses its former name. Location Wong Tai Sin is surrounded by northeast Tsz Wan Shan, east Diamond Hill, south San Po Kong, south west Tung Tau and west Wang Tau Hom. Lion Rock is located north west of Wong Tai Sin. Sze Tak-loy
Sze Tak-loy (; born 1982) is a Hong Kong politician. He is currently chairman of the Hong Kong Association for Democracy and People's Livelihood (ADPL) and was a member of the Wong Tai Sin District Council for Tung Mei. In the 2015 District Council elections, Sze was first elected to the Wong Tai Sin District Council, succeeding veteran Mok Ying-fan in Tung Mei. In 2016, Sze became vice-chairman alongside Tam Kwok-kiu while Rosanda Mok became the first party chairwoman. In the 2016 Legislative Council election when Mok resigned as ADPL chairwoman after the party lost all its seats in the Legislative Council, Sze acted as chairman. Wong Tai Sin District
Wong Tai Sin District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. It is the only landlocked district in Hong Kong. It is located in Kowloon, and is the northernmost district in Kowloon. It borders the districts of Kwun Tong to its southeast, Kowloon City to its southwest, Sai Kung to its east, and Sha Tin to its north.
