Boğaziçi University
Boğaziçi University ( tr, Boğaziçi Üniversitesi), also known as Bosphorus University, is a major research university in Istanbul, Turkey. Its main campus is located on the European side of the Bosphorus, Bosphorus strait. It has six faculties and two schools offering undergraduate degrees, and six institutes offering graduate degrees. Traditionally, the language of instruction is English. Founded in 1863, as Robert College, it was the first Higher education in the United States, American higher education institution founded outside the United States. Though under Turkish administration today, the university still maintains strong ties to the American educational system. Boğaziçi University consistently ranks as Turkey's top university and has the greatest number of applicants via the Turkish university entrance examinations, making it the most selective state university in Turkey.https://tanitim.boun.edu.tr/2019-taban-puanlari 2019 YKS SONUÇLARINA GÖRE BOĞAZİÇİ Ü ...

Simple Group
SIMPLE Group Limited is a conglomeration of separately run companies that each has its core area in International Consulting. The core business areas are Legal Services, Fiduciary Activities, Banking Intermediation and Corporate Service. The date of incorporation is listed as 1999 by Companies House of Gibraltar, who class it as a holding company; however it is understood that SIMPLE Group's business and trading activities date to the second part of the 90s, probably as an incorporated body. SIMPLE Group Limited is a conglomerate that cultivate secrecy, they are not listed on any Stock Exchange and the group is owned by a complicated series of offshore trust An offshore trust is a conventional trust that is formed under the laws of an offshore jurisdiction. Generally offshore trusts are similar in nature and effect to their onshore counterparts; they involve a settlor transferring (or 'settling') a ...s. The Sunday Times stated that SIMPLE Group's interests could be eval ...

Morley Rank
In mathematical logic, Morley rank, introduced by , is a means of measuring the size of a subset of a model of a theory, generalizing the notion of dimension in algebraic geometry. Definition Fix a theory ''T'' with a model ''M''. The Morley rank of a formula ''φ'' defining a definable (with parameters) subset ''S'' of ''M'' is an ordinal or −1 or ∞, defined by first recursively defining what it means for a formula to have Morley rank at least ''α'' for some ordinal ''α''. *The Morley rank is at least 0 if ''S'' is non-empty. *For ''α'' a successor ordinal, the Morley rank is at least ''α'' if in some elementary extension ''N'' of ''M'', the set ''S'' has countably infinitely many disjoint definable subsets ''Si'', each of rank at least ''α'' − 1. *For ''α'' a non-zero limit ordinal, the Morley rank is at least ''α'' if it is at least ''β'' for all ''β'' less than ''α''. The Morley rank is then defined to be ''α'' if it is at least ''α'' but ...

Model Theory
In mathematical logic, model theory is the study of the relationship between formal theories (a collection of sentences in a formal language expressing statements about a mathematical structure), and their models (those structures in which the statements of the theory hold). The aspects investigated include the number and size of models of a theory, the relationship of different models to each other, and their interaction with the formal language itself. In particular, model theorists also investigate the sets that can be defined in a model of a theory, and the relationship of such definable sets to each other. As a separate discipline, model theory goes back to Alfred Tarski, who first used the term "Theory of Models" in publication in 1954. Since the 1970s, the subject has been shaped decisively by Saharon Shelah's stability theory. Compared to other areas of mathematical logic such as proof theory, model theory is often less concerned with formal rigour and closer in spirit ...

Group (mathematics)
In mathematics, a group is a Set (mathematics), set and an Binary operation, operation that combines any two Element (mathematics), elements of the set to produce a third element of the set, in such a way that the operation is Associative property, associative, an identity element exists and every element has an Inverse element, inverse. These three axioms hold for Number#Main classification, number systems and many other mathematical structures. For example, the integers together with the addition operation form a group. The concept of a group and the axioms that define it were elaborated for handling, in a unified way, essential structural properties of very different mathematical entities such as numbers, geometric shapes and polynomial roots. Because the concept of groups is ubiquitous in numerous areas both within and outside mathematics, some authors consider it as a central organizing principle of contemporary mathematics. In geometry groups arise naturally in the study of ...

Mathematics Genealogy Project
The Mathematics Genealogy Project (MGP) is a web-based database for the academic genealogy of mathematicians.. By 31 December 2021, it contained information on 274,575 mathematical scientists who contributed to research-level mathematics. For a typical mathematician, the project entry includes graduation year, thesis title (in its Mathematics Subject Classification), '' alma mater'', doctoral advisor, and doctoral students.. Origin of the database The project grew out of founder Harry Coonce's desire to know the name of his advisor's advisor.. Coonce was Professor of Mathematics at Minnesota State University, Mankato, at the time of the project's founding, and the project went online there in fall 1997.Mulcahy, Colm; The Mathematics Genealogy Project Comes of Age at Twenty-one(PDF) AMS Notices (May 2017) Coonce retired from Mankato in 1999, and in fall 2002 the university decided that it would no longer support the project. The project relocated at that time to North Dakota State U ...

It consists of 50 states, a federal district, five major unincorporated territories, nine Minor Outlying Islands, and 326 Indian reservations. The United States is also in free association with three Pacific Island sovereign states: the Federated States of Micronesia, the Marshall Islands, and the Republic of Palau. It is the world's third-largest country by both land and total area. It shares land borders with Canada to its north and with Mexico to its south and has maritime borders with the Bahamas, Cuba, Russia, and other nations. With a population of over 333 million, it is the most populous country in the Americas and the third most populous in the world. The national capital of the United States is Washington, D.C. and its most populous city and principal financial center is New York City. Paleo-Americ ...
