Tumlingtar
Tumlingtar () is a region and a town, in Sankhuwasabha district of Province No. 1 of Eastern Nepal, between the Arun and Sabha rivers. It is located in Sankhuwasabha District. It is also the deepest valley of the world and largest ''ṭār'' (butte or mesa) of Nepal. Demographics The indigenous tribe of Tumlingtar is Kumal. Their traditional profession is pot-making, though only a few still practise this career nowadays. The other tribes living there are Bahun, Chhetri, Magar, Rai, Tamang, Newar and Majhi. The inhabitants have shown racial harmony. The people of any tribe are always helpful to the rest in the rituals. The total number of families in Tumlingtar is about 600. Transport As urbanisation has been growing here, many people of the surrounding areas are drawn to the city nowadays. Biratnagar () is a metropolitan city in Nepal, which serves as the capital of Province No. 1. With a population of 242,548 as per the 2011 census, it is the largest city in the province and also the headquarters of Morang district. Sabha River
The Sabha River originates from Sabha Lake in eastern Nepal. The Sankhuwasabha District has two major parts, eastern and northern; the Sabha River separates these two parts of the district. Sabha River is very clear because most of the water is collected from land sources, not from the mountains. It is also the source of irrigation and drinking water on its banks. Sankhuwasabha District
Sankhuwasabha District ( ne, सङ्खुवासभा जिल्ला ) is one of 14 districts of Province No. 1 of eastern Nepal. The district's area is 3,480 km2 with a population of 159,203 in 2001 and 158,742 in 2011. The administrative center is Khandbari. Bordering districts are Bhojpur, Terhathum and Dhankuta in Koshi Zone; Solukhumbu in Sagarmatha Zone; and Taplejung in Province No. 1. Khandbari Municipality
Khandbari is the district headquarters of Sankhuwasabha District in Province No. 1 of north-eastern Nepal. The 2011 Nepal census counted 26,301 population. Dharan
Dharan ( ne, धरान) a sub-metropolitan city in Sunsari District of Province No. 1, Nepal, which was established as a fourth municipality in the Kingdom in 1958. It is the third most populous city in Eastern Nepal after Biratnagar and Itahari. Koshi Highway
Koshi Highway ( ne, कोशी राजमार्ग) or H08 is a 390 km long planned highway located in Province No. 1 of Nepal. It is north-south highway which is understood to be shortest highway which connects India to China across the Himalayan mountains in Nepal. Rani at Biratnagar is starting point of the road which is connected to Jogbani in India and Kimathanka is the end point of the Koshi Highway, which is connected to Chinese town Chentang. Almost all track has been open on this corridor, only 14 km of track was remaining to open in 2021.
