London Independent School District is a public school district located in Nueces County, Texas (USA). The district, located in Corpus Christi, Texas, has four campuses; London Elementary, which serves students in grades pre-kindergarten through second grade; London Intermediate, which serves students grades third through fifth grade; London Middle, which serves grades sixth through eighth grade, and London High school, which serves ninth through twelfth grade. Tuloso-Midway High School is a public high school in Corpus Christi, Texas and is part of the Tuloso-Midway Independent School District. History Tuloso-Midway Independent School District began in 1887 when a schoolhouse was constructed on donated land in the Tuloso area. The school's first teacher was an individual named Murdock who taught nine students for a six-month term. Twenty-seven years later, in 1914, the first Midway school was established in an adjacent community. In 1938, the Tuloso and Midway communities planned the formation of the Tuluso-Midway Independent School District. By 1947, the district had come into being. Two years later, in 1949, the school district had its first graduating class consisting of five students. Tuluso-Midway Independent School District continued to expand in May 1969, absorbing the Clarkwood Independent School District and the Violet Common School District.
