Jessica Tuki
Jessica Tuki (born 28 October 1987 in New Plymouth, Taranaki) is a former New Zealand professional netball and basketball player. She played for the Northern Mystics in the ANZ Championship and was previously in the Silver Ferns in 2006. Tuki replaced Jodi Brown in the team to go to the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne, after Brown injured her knee. She has previously played for the Western Flyers (2004–05) and the Otago Rebels (2006) in the National Bank Cup. She also trialled for the Tall Ferns basketball team. During the ANZ Championship era, Tuki has played in almost every position except for Centre. Lynn Jaime Rapu Tuki (born 9 December 1969) is a Chilean promoter of the arts and traditions of the Rapa Nui People and head-teacher and founder of the Ma'aranui Cultural Academy and the Cultural Ballet Kari Kari. He is Cultural Ambassador of Asia-Pacific and has been Head of the Liaison Office of the National Council of Culture and the Arts (CNCA, ''Consejo Nacional de la Cultura y las Artes,'' in Spanish). Background Several major events back in the 1960s changed the course of the Island, which began revolving around the ever-growing touristic market. Valentino Riroroko Tuki
Valentino Riroroko Tuki (13 February 1932 — 29 July 2017) was a claimant to the Rapa Nui throne of Easter Island. He was the grandson of the last King Simeón Riro Kāinga, who died in 1899 and belonged to the Miru clan, descendents of the founder and first Ariki Mau of Rapa Nui, the legendary Hotu Matua. Biography Riroroko was born on 13 February 1932 in Easter Island. He was the son of Juan Riroroko, the youngest son of Riro Kāinga, and Luisa Tuki. He married Andrea Servia in 1953. As eldest grandson of the last King of Rapa Nui, the title belonged to Jacobo Riroroko, who being of old age and bedridden with an illness, passed it to his younger brother Valentino Riroroko.
