Tuhin Das (born 7 March 2000) is a footballer from West Bengal, Indiabr>He plays as a defender for the East Bengal Club after getting into a pre-contract agreement for the 2022 football season. He has also represented the West Bengal state football team. He was part of the West Bengal Football Team in the Santosh Trophy 2021-22 campaign where they ended up runners-up after losing to Kerala in the Final. The Santosh Trophy, officially known as Hero Senior Men's National Football Championship due to sponsorship ties with Hero MotoCorp, is a state-level football competition contested by the state associations and government institutions under the All India Football Federation (AIFF), the sport's governing body in India. Before the starting of the first national club league, the National Football League in 1996, the Santosh Trophy was considered the top domestic honour in India. 2021–22 Santosh Trophy
The 2021–22 Santosh Trophy is the 75th edition of the Santosh Trophy, the premier competition in India for teams representing their regional and state football associations. The last season was cancelled due to COVID-19 pandemic in India. The main round of the tournament was held in Malappuram, and was contested by 10 teams divided into two groups. Kerala and West Bengal from Group A and Manipur and Karnataka from Group B reached the semi-finals, and eventually Kerala and West Bengal faced in the final.
