Tuff Harris
Tuff Chester David Harris (born January 23, 1983, in Crow Agency, Montana) is a former American football safety. He was signed by the Miami Dolphins as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football at Montana. Harris has also been a member of the New Orleans Saints, the Tennessee Titans and the Miami Dolphins. Early years Harris grew up in Lodge Grass, Montana, also known as the Valley of the Chiefs. He is a member of the Crow Nation. During his years at Lodge Grass High School, Harris played football, basketball, baseball, and ran track. His mother was an assistant coach for the track and field team. Harris's family moved to Colstrip after his sophomore year. After moving from Lodge Grass to Colstrip, Harris continued playing football, basketball, and track for the Colstrip Colts. Safety (American Football Position)
Safety is a position in gridiron football on the defense. The safeties are defensive backs who line up ten to fifteen yards from the line of scrimmage. There are two variations of the position: the free safety and the strong safety. Their duties depend on the defensive scheme. The defensive responsibilities of the safety and cornerback usually involve pass coverage towards the middle and sidelines of the field. While American (11-player) formations generally use two safeties, Canadian (12-player) formations generally have one safety and two defensive halfbacks, a position not used in the American game. The injured reserve list ( IR list) is a designation used in North American professional sports leagues for athletes who suffer injuries and become unable to play. The exact name of the list varies by league; it is known as "injured reserve" in the National Football League (NFL) and National Hockey League (NHL), the "injured list" in the Canadian Football League (CFL), and the injured list (historically known as the "disabled list") in Major League Baseball (MLB). The National Basketball Association (NBA) does not have a direct analog to an injured reserve list, instead using a more general-purpose "inactive list" that does not require a player to be injured. Eric King (born May 10, 1982 in Baltimore, Maryland) is a former American football cornerback. He was drafted by the Buffalo Bills in the fifth round of the 2005 NFL Draft. He played college football at Wake Forest. King has also played for the Tennessee Titans, Cleveland Browns and Detroit Lions. A cornerback (CB) is a member of the defensive backfield or secondary in gridiron football. Cornerbacks cover receivers most of the time, but also blitz and defend against such offensive running plays as sweeps and reverses.
