''Tuesday Knight'' is the eponymous debut album by American recording artist and actress Tuesday Knight. The album was released by Parc/CBS Records in August 1987 on Vinyl and cassette, and was accompanied by the lead single " Out of Control". Background After providing background vocals on Quiet Riot's 1983 album, ''Metal Health'', Knight was signed by Vanity Records in 1984. She was later bought out of her contract and signed to CBS Records, after which, she began recording her debut album. Almost all tracks were written and produced by Frank Wildhorn, who would go on to become known for the Broadway musical '' Jekyll & Hyde'', of which Knight appeared on the original demo for. The album was also produced by Karl Richardson (The Bee Gees, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand) and JD Nicholas (of the Commodores), who performed alongside Knight on the track "Celebrate Love". Tuesday Lynn Knight (born Monday, February 17, 1969) is an American actress, singer and designer. She is best known for her role as Kristen Parker in the 1988 film '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master'', replacing Patricia Arquette in the sequel to '' A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors'' (1987). Her other film roles include ''Mistress'' (1992), '' The Fan'' (1996), ''Daddy and Them'' (2001), and ''How to Be Single'' (2016). ''Metal Health'' is the third studio album by American heavy metal band Quiet Riot, released on March 11, 1983. The album spawned the hit singles " Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Metal Health". It was the band's first album to receive a worldwide release, as the first two were released only in Japan. ''Metal Health'' was the first heavy metal album to reach number one on the ''Billboard'' 200 chart, replacing the Police's ''Synchronicity'' at number one in November 1983. Esther Wong (August 13, 1917 – August 14, 2005) was a Chinese-American music promoter, called the "Godmother of Punk" in Los Angeles, California. Life She was born in Shanghai in 1917. Her father had been an automobile importer, and she had been well-educated and well-traveled before emigrating to the United States in 1949 to escape the Communist takeover of China. Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?
"Why You Wanna Treat Me So Bad?" is the US follow-up single to Prince's first big hit, "I Wanna Be Your Lover". It is also Prince's first rock and roll-inspired single release. It did not make the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 charts, although it did reach #13 on the R&B Singles charts. The lyrics explore a relationship with a cruel lover. The song prominently features guitar and bass, with the keyboard featured in a less prominent role. A highlight of the song is a soaring guitar solo at the end, played by Prince himself. The song was played live on Prince's first three tours, always being the second number. The extended lyrics on the live version continue the main theme, although, later on the ''Dirty Mind'' tour, these were replaced by screaming "bitch!" and following this with a blazing guitar solo. Commodores are an American funk and soul band, which were at their peak in the late 1970s through the mid 1980s.
