Tudorel Toader
Tudorel Toader (born 25 March 1960, in Vulturu, Vrancea County, Socialist Republic of Romania) is a Romanian lawyer and professor. Between 1982 and 1986, Toader studied at The Law University at "Al.I. Cuza" Iași. In 2006 he was appointed judge at the Constitutional Court of Romania by the Chamber of Deputies for a year and re-appointed in 2007 to serve in that capacity until 2016. Toader was Minister of Justice in the Grindeanu Cabinet, Tudose Cabinet, and Dăncilă Cabinet from 23 February 2017 to 24 April 2019. Focșani
Focșani (; yi, פֿאָקשאַן, Fokshan) is the capital city of Vrancea County in Romania on the banks the river Milcov, in the historical region of Moldavia. It has a population () of 79,315. Geography Focșani lies at the foot of the Curvature Carpathians, at a point of convergence for tectonic geologic faults, which raises the risk of earthquakes in the vicinity. Though Vrancea County is one of the most popular wine-producing regions in Romania, Odobești being just to the northwest, in Romania, Focșani itself is not considered a wine-producing center. The wine sold as ''Weisse von Fokshan'' in Germany and some other European countries is generally a ''Fetească Albă de Odobești'' wine, and practically a second-rated wine which does not comply to the European Union rules of naming the regions of origin of wines. The National Anticorruption Directorate ( ro, Direcția Națională Anticorupție (DNA)), formerly National Anticorruption Prosecution Office ( ro, Parchetul Național Anticorupție), is the Romanian agency tasked with preventing, investigating and prosecuting corruption-related offenses (such as bribery, graft, patronage and embezzlement) that caused a material damage to the Romanian state. Laura Codruța Kövesi (; ; born 15 May 1973) is the first European Chief Prosecutor and the former chief prosecutor of Romania's National Anticorruption Directorate ( ro, Direcția Națională Anticorupție - DNA, links=no), a position she held from 2013 until she was fired on the order of Justice Minister Tudorel Toader on 9 July 2018.
