Joe Pass
Joe Pass (born Joseph Anthony Jacobi Passalaqua; January 13, 1929 – May 23, 1994) was an American jazz guitarist. Pass is well known for his work stemming from numerous collaborations with pianist Oscar Peterson and vocalist Ella Fitzgerald, and is often heralded as one of the most unique and notable jazz guitarists of the 20th century. Early life Pass was born in New Brunswick, New Jersey, New Brunswick, New Jersey, on January 13, 1929. His father, Mariano Passalaqua, was a steel mill worker who was born in Sicily. The family later moved to Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Pass became interested in the guitar after he saw Gene Autry on television. He got his first guitar when he was nine. Guilherme Pontes Karam (8 October 1957 - 7 July 2016), best known as Guilherme Karan, was a Brazilian actor. Biography Son of the admiral and Minister of the Navy in the João Figueiredo government, Alfredo Karam and Lydiane Pontes Karam. Most of his work is comic, and was once a member of the Brazilian ''TV Pirata'' comedy show, one of the greatest hits of humor, screened by Globo TV. José Dumont (born 1 August 1950 in Bananeiras, Paraíba) is a Brazilian TV and movie actor, best known for his role as the family father in ''Behind the Sun'' (''Abril Despedaçado''), an award-winning film of director Walter Salles.
