Tsutaya Comic Award
is a manga award sponsored by TSUTAYA, a major chain of rental and sales stores for books, music software, and video software. Overview The first award was held in 2017 as a celebration of Tsutaya stores, until 2018 the awards were divided into 4 categories (Next Break, All time best, Anime hope, Live action hope). From the 3rd award in 2019 onwards only "Next Break" was available. The concept of the award is to decide the Next Break not by nomination or recommendation, but only by user vote. For the Next Break, the conditions are that the work must be within 5 volumes and unfinished. is a Japanese company that operates Tsutaya (蔦屋), a chain of video rental shops and bookstores throughout Japan and Taiwan. The company is headquartered in Ebisu, Tokyo. Satoru Noda (artist)
is a Japanese manga artist. He is best known as the creator of the manga series ''Golden Kamuy'', for which he won the 2016 Manga Taishō and the 2018 Tezuka Osamu Cultural Prize. Biography Noda was born in Kitahiroshima, Hokkaido, Japan. His great-grandfather was a military settler in Hokkaido and veteran of the Russo-Japanese War; Noda named the protagonist of his manga series ''Golden Kamuy'' after him. After moving to Tokyo at the age of 23, he entered the manga industry as an artist assistant. Noda was an assistant to Mitsurou Kubo for two years, and later worked under . Robico
is a Japanese manga artist from Kagoshima Prefecture, best known for ''My Little Monster''. Robico is a pen name and the author's real name is unknown. Biography Robico attended vocational school with the thought of becoming an illustrator. In 2005, Robico made her debut with ''Demekinikku'' (デメキンイック) published in the May edition of ''Dessert''. In 2014, she collaborated with author Tsugumi Ohba for the one-shot "Skip! Yamada-kun".
