Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station
is a railway station on the northern Ōu Main Line in the city of Hirakawa, Aomori Prefecture, Japan, operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). Lines Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station is served by the Ōu Main Line, and is located 422.3 km from the starting point of the line at . Station layout The station has two opposed side platforms located on an embankment, with station building located at a lower level. There is no connection between platforms, each of which has a separate exit. Platforms History Tsugaru-Yunosawa Station was opened on June 1, 1949 as a station on the Japan National Railways (JNR). The is a railway line in Japan, operated by the East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It connects Fukushima Station through Akita Station to Aomori Station. Since the opening of the Yamagata Shinkansen on July 1, 1992, the Fukushima–Yamagata section (as well as the Yamagata–Shinjō section since 1999) is sometimes referred to as the Yamagata Line. is a prefecture of Japan in the Tōhoku region. The prefecture's capital, largest city, and namesake is the city of Aomori. A side platform (also known as a marginal platform or a single-face platform) is a platform positioned to the side of one or more railway tracks or guideways at a railway station, tram stop, or transitway. A station having dual side platforms, one for each direction of travel, is the basic design used for double-track railway lines (as opposed to, for instance, the island platform where a single platform lies between the tracks).
