Tsubasa (wrestler)
(sometimes stylized in capital letters as TSUBASA) is a Japanese professional wrestler currently working as a freelancer and is best known for his tenure with the Japanese promotion Osaka Pro Wrestling where he is a former Osaka Openweight Champion. A masked wrestler, Tsubasa is greatly influenced by ''lucha libre'', and because of this, he has followed Mexican tradition for masked wrestlers, so his real name is not a matter of public record. Raymundo Cuesta Veloz (January 20, 1951 – January 3, 2001) was a Mexican ''Luchador'' or professional wrestler best known under the ring name ''Kung Fu''. The is a professional wrestling championship contested for in the Japanese professional wrestling promotion Tenryu Project. The title was established in 1995 in Wrestle Association R (WAR). is a Japanese professional wrestler, currently working for Dragon Gate and Pro Wrestling Noah. Mochizuki is a former FIP World Champion and three-time Open the Dream Gate Champion. Wrestle Association R (formerly known as Wrestle and Romance and abbreviated as WAR) was a Japanese professional wrestling promotion founded and run by Genichiro Tenryu as the successor to Super World of Sports, and which lasted from 1992 to 2000. The promotion initially established as Wrestle and Romance in 1992, had very few regular contracted workers, instead most of the workers were either freelance or employed in other promotions. A house show or live event is a professional wrestling event produced by a major promotion that is not televised, though they can be recorded. Promotions use house shows mainly to cash in on the exposure that they and their wrestlers receive during televised events, as well as to test reactions to matches, wrestlers, and gimmicks that are being considered for the main televised programming and upcoming pay-per-views. House shows are entire events and not the same as dark matches—untelevised matches that occur as part of an event that was already being televised. House shows are also often scripted to make the face wrestlers win most matches, largely to send the crowd home happy. CMLL International Gran Prix
The CMLL International Gran Prix is an annual tournament held by the Mexican professional wrestling promotion Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL), that was held from 1994 to 2008, although there was no tournament in 1999, 2000, 2001 and 2004. The tournament was inspired by New Japan Pro-Wrestling's "International Wrestling Gran Prix" tournament in the 1980s. From 1994 until 1998 the Gran Prix was a single elimination tournament that featured a mixture of Mexican and international wrestlers, some who worked for CMLL regularly and some that were invited specifically for the tournament.
