Tsonevo (dam)
Tsonevo Reservoir is a reservoir located in the valley of the Luda Kamchia River, 1 km from the village of Tsonevo. The reservoir ranks third in size in Bulgaria with water service of 17300 decameters. Its old name was ''Georgi Traikov''. It has warm waters, and is used for water supply and irrigation. The reservoir is rich in fish such as bream, perch, rudd, and catfish Catfish (or catfishes; order Siluriformes or Nematognathi) are a diverse group of ray-finned fish. Perch
Perch is a common name for fish of the genus ''Perca'', freshwater gamefish belonging to the family Percidae. Rudd
''Scardinius'' is a genus of ray-finned fish in the family Cyprinidae commonly called rudds. Locally, the name "rudd" without any further qualifiers is also used for individual species, particularly the common rudd (''S. erythrophthalmus''). The rudd can be distinguished from the very similar roach by way of the rudd's upturned mouth, allowing it to pick food items such as aquatic insects from the surface of the water with minimal disturbance. The Greek rudd (''S. graecus'') is a similar fish, about 40 cm long. It occurs only in the southern tip of the Greek mainland. It lives in lakes and slow-flowing rivers, forming large schools.
