Tshepo Gumede
Tshepo Gumede (born 21 April 1991) is a South African professional footballer who plays for Marumo Gallants (formerly Tshakhuma Tsha Madzivhandila Football Club) as a defender. Club career Gumede began his youth career at Arcadia Shepherds before joining the SuperSport United academy. He spent a season on loan at Mpumalanga Black Aces but failed to make an appearance. Gumede joined Platinum Stars in July 2012. At the end of the 2012–13 season, he was nominated for the ABSA Premiership ''Young Player of the Year'' award and the Nedbank Cup ''Most Promising Player of the Tournament'' award, winning the former. On 26 July 2016 it was announced that Gumede had joined Capetonian side Cape Town City. In June 2018 Gumede left the club, with the club not renewing his contract. Gumede would go on to join AmaZulu in February 2019, this after spending a period of time on trial with the club. Dobsonville is an suburb in Soweto. Description The first shopping centre in Soweto, Dobsonville Shopping Centre, is located in Dobsonville. It has many small suburbs within it, namely extensions 1, 2 and 3, Mmesi Park, Snake Park (Thulani) and many others. It has many primary and high schools, including Hector Peterson Primary School, which was built in memory of Hector Peterson. There are recreational facilities such as Dorothy Nyembe Park, a local library, and a swimming pool. Opposite the swimming pool is Dobsonville stadium. The Namibia national football team represents Namibia in men's international football and is controlled by the Namibia Football Association. The 2013 COSAFA Cup, sponsored by South African Breweries and officially named the 2013 COSAFA Castle Cup, was the 14th edition of the COSAFA Cup, an international football competition consisting of national teams of member nations of the Council of Southern Africa Football Associations (COSAFA). The Nedbank Cup is the current name of South Africa's Premier Soccer League, premier club association football, soccer knockout tournament. While many formats have been used over the years, the tournament has always been based on the idea of giving lower league and amateur teams a chance to compete with clubs from the top league for the cup. The tournament is based on the English FA Cup, which has become known for "giant killings" (lower league clubs defeating a top-flight club).
