Trygve Waldemar Fiske
Trygve Waldemar Fiske (born 15 February 1987 in Frei, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (upright bass), known from different Norwegian jazz bands and recordings. Career Fiske was educated on the jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium, and the Norwegian Academy of Music. He played in Heidi Skjerve Quartet ''Vegen Åt Deg'' (2012) and Hanna Paulsberg Concept '' Waltz For Lilli'' (2012). After receiving the Shell Oil Company's Jazz Scholarship in 2013, Fiske started up his own quartet, Waldemar 4. They have offered performances at Norwegian jazz festivals like Moldejazz and the Kongsberg Jazz Festival, and released their self-titled debut album in 2015. Hanna Paulsberg
Hanna Paulsberg (born 13 November 1987 in Rygge, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz musician (tenor saxophone) and composer. Career Paulsberg started playing saxophone at the age of fifteen, after listening to a cd with American saxophone player Stan Getz. The year after, she started the music program at "Kirkeparken videregående skole" in Moss, where she got her Examen artium in 2009. Later she became a graduate of the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium in 2011, and released her debut album ''Waltz For Lilli'' (2012), including Trygve Waldemar Fiske (double bass), Oscar Grönberg (piano) and Hans Hulbækmo (drums). Paulsberg often play with the renowned Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. In November 2016 they joined Chick Corea for two nights and four concerts at the Blue Note Jazz Club in New York City. Moldejazz
Molde International Jazz Festival (MIJF) or Moldejazz (established 1961 in Molde) takes place annually in July, and is known as one of the oldest jazz festivals in Europe. It was initiated by the local Storyville Jazz Club. Since 1964 it has received government support, and the government Buddy Award was for several years awarded at this festival. To the extent Molde festival operates with records, is probably the bassist Bjørn Kjellemyr holder of "Most festivals in a row" musicians record. In 2015 he visits Moldejazz for the 17th time in row as performer. Two club gigs with Dag Arnesen's band is on the program for the versatile bassist. Ine Hoem
Ine Kristine Hoem (born 19 December 1985 in Oslo, Norway) is a Norwegian jazz singer and the daughter of the author Edvard Hoem. She is also known as the lead singer of the genre band PELbO. Career Hoem got her music diploma from the Jazz program at Norwegian University of Science and Technology (2009). Within the band PELbO, she released the album ''PELbO'' (2010) and '' Days Of Trancendence'' (2011). The album ''PELbO'' was nominated for the 2010 Open class Spellemannprisen. Hans Hulbækmo (born 1989) is a Norwegian musician (drums, percussion, saw, Jew's harp and vibraphone) and composer, son of the traditional folk musicians Tone Hulbækmo and Hans Fredrik Jacobsen, brother of pianist Alf Hulbækmo, and known from several Norwegian bands as Broen, Hanna Paulsberg Concept, Skadedyr, Moskus, Atomic, Kalenda Maya and his collaboration with Anders Røine. Oscar Grönberg (born 19 April 1987, in Sweden), is a Swedish/Norwegian jazz musician (piano) based in Trondheim, Norway, known as bandleader of his own O. G. Trio/O. G. Quartet and for his contributions in bands like Hanna Paulsberg Concept. Career Grönberg is a graduate of the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonsevatorium in 2011, where he joined the Hanna Paulsberg Concept. O. G. Vigleik Storaas
Vigleik Storaas (born 2 February 1963) is a Norwegian jazz pianist and composer, and the younger brother of composer and bassist Gaute Storaas. He is known from a series of album releases and collaborations with jazz musicians such as Norma Winstone, Karin Krog, Terje Rypdal, Niels-Henning Ørsted Pedersen, Chet Baker, Jack DeJohnette and Warne Marsh. Career Storås was born in Bergen, and studied music at the U-Phils High School in Bergen before attending the Jazz program at Trondheim Musikkonservatorium (1982–84), what today is the Department of Music Technology (NTNU), where he was the leader of the Bodega Band (1990–1996), and is now Assistant Professor. John Pål Inderberg
John Pål Inderberg (born 6 August 1950 Steinkjer, Norway) is a versatile saxophonist and one of the leading traditional musicians in Norway. His playing synthethises many different styles, not least when in partnership with Norwegian and American jazz musicians - players as contrasting as Gil Evans and Lee Konitz. Career As an earlier member of the new cool quartet, Inderberg gave new popularity to the collective art of improvisation in the 1950s. Inderberg's soprano and baritone sax can be heard on a wide range of recordings. He has toured and recorded with Lee Konitz Store Norske Leksikon and Warne Marsh (saxophone), Chet Baker (trumpet), Bob Brookmeyer (trombone), as well as Siri Gellein and Henning Sommerro.
