Tryggve Andersen
Tryggve Andersen (27 September 1866 – 10 April 1920) was a Norwegian novelist, poet, and story writer. Biography Andersen was born in Ringsaker in Hedmark, Norway. He was one of ten children born to Christen Andersen (1825–1893) and Antonette Krogvig (1840–1932). His father was a trader and later bailiff. When Andersen was nine years old, the family moved to Tysnes in Hardanger. In 1878, Andersen entered Bergen Cathedral School. He later attended school in Hamar and took his student exams in 1885. He attended the University of Kristiania until 1892 but did not graduate. He subsequently became an office worker in Hamar. Andersen made his literary debut in 1897 with the historical novel collectio''I Cancelliraadens dage'' a collection of tales from the early 1800s in the Norwegian Uplands. is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Hedemarken. The administrative centre of the municipality is the town of Brumunddal. Regine Normann
Regine Normann (29 July 1867 – 14 August 1939) was a Norwegian school teacher, novelist and story writer. Early life and education Serine Regine Normann was born at Bø in Nordland, Norway. She was the daughter of Mikkel Normann (1827–71) and Tina Amalie Lockert (1844–1933). Her father died when she was four years old and her mother was left with five young children. She was sent to relatives outside Harstad when she was five years old. She graduated from Olaf Berg's Higher Teacher Education School in Kristiania (now Oslo) in 1897. Teaching and writing career Normann was appointed a schoolteacher at Kristiania Folk School in 1901. Up until her retirement in 1932, she worked at Sofienberg School in Oslo. Olav Engebrigtsen (15 January 1878 – 15 April 1962) was a Norwegian painter and illustrator. He was born in Kristiania. He studied art with Harriet Backer for four years, with Kristian Zahrtmann in Copenhagen, and with Henri Matisse in Paris. From 1911 to 1940 he was appointed as illustrator for the newspaper ''Tidens Tegn''. Henrik Lund (painter)
Henrik Louis Lund (8 September 1879 – 23 December 1935) was a Norwegian painter and graphic artist. Lund was born in Bergen as a son of Lt.-Col. Henrik Louis Bull Lund (1838–1891) and pianist and composer Birgitte Theodora Carlsen (1843–1913). His sister was the composer Signe Lund. He spent much of his young days at sea and probably had a naval career in mind. However, he was not admitted to the Norwegian Naval Academy. He moved to Kristiania, where he met painting student Per Deberitz, who was a student of Hans Gude and who probably turned Lund's interest to this profession. He was a pupil of Harriet Backer (1899), debuted the same year, and studied further with Johan Nordhagen (1903). Lund had his first exhibit in 1899 and his first Autumn Exhibit in 1901.
