Trust Fall (Side A)
''Trust Fall (Side A)'' is a four-track EP by alternative rock band Incubus. It was released in 2015 on Island Records. It was the first release from the band since their 2011 album, '' If Not Now, When?''. A sequel to this EP was later released 5 years later in 2020 as ''Trust Fall (Side B)''. Background The writing and production of the EP began in late 2014 following a Sons of the Seas tour fronted by Brandon Boyd. The EP was the first of "at least two" EPs that Incubus planned to release in 2015; they ultimately did not release a second EP that year. Brandon Boyd and Mike Einziger stated in an interview for #Letstalkmusic that the EP format was chosen so they could release some new songs prior to a tour, then finish the rest of the album when they returned. Promotion The lead single from the EP, "Absolution Calling", debuted on KROQ. It was followed by a music video. Incubus (band)
Incubus is an American Rock music, rock band from Calabasas, California. The band was formed in 1991 by vocalist Brandon Boyd, lead guitarist Mike Einziger, and drummer José Pasillas while enrolled in Calabasas High School and later expanded to include bassist Alex Katunich, Alex "Dirk Lance" Katunich, and Gavin Koppell, Gavin "DJ Lyfe" Koppell; both of whom were replaced by bassist Ben Kenney and Chris Kilmore, DJ Kilmore, respectively. KROQ-FM (106.7 MHz) is a commercial radio station licensed to Pasadena, California, serving Greater Los Angeles. Stephen Marcussen is the founder and chief mastering engineer at Marcussen Mastering in Hollywood, California, United States. He has been mastering music since 1979. Ben Kenney
Benjamin Lee Kenney Sr. (born March 12, 1977) is an American musician from Brielle, New Jersey. He is the current bass guitarist for the band Incubus (since 2003) and had previously played in the Roots as a guitarist. He also records as a solo artist, usually recording every instrument and singing all vocals on his records. Michael Aaron Einziger (born June 21, 1976) is an American musician, songwriter and producer.
