Truls or Troels is a Nordic masculine given name. Truls is mainly used in Norway, and to a lesser extent in Sweden. Troels is predominantly used in Denmark. Troels Lund Poulsen (born 30 March 1976 in Vejle) is a Danish politician, who is Minister for Economic Affairs and a member of the Folketing for the Venstre political party. He served as Minister for the Environment from 2007 to 2010, Minister for Taxation from 2010 to 2011, Minister of Education in 2011, Minister for Commerce, Business and Growth from 2015 to 2016 and Minister for Employment from 2016 to 2019. Truls Ove Karlsen
Truls Ove Karlsen (born 25 April 1975 in Oslo) is a retired Norwegian alpine skier. He made his Alpine Skiing World Cup debut in Sölden in 2001. He made a total of 143 World Cup starts, finishing third in a slalom in Sestriere in December 2002 and scoring his only World Cup win in a slalom in Kranjska Gora in February 2004, leading home team-mate Tom Stiansen in a Norwegian one-two ahead of Austrian Mario Matt. His best World Cup seasons were 2003 and 2004, where he finished eighth in the slalom standings. His best results at the Alpine Skiing World Championships were achieved at the 2007 Championships in Åre, where he finished sixth in the giant slalom and seventh in the slalom. Truls Olaf Otterbech Mørk (born 25 April 1961) is a Norwegian Cello, cellist. Biography Mørk was born in Bergen, Norway to a cellist father, John Fritjof Mørk, and a pianist mother, Turid Otterbech. His mother began teaching him the piano when he was seven. Mørk also played the violin, but soon switched to the cello, taking lessons from his father. Mørk began his studies with Frans Helmerson at 17 at Edsberg Music Institute. An admirer of Mstislav Rostropovich and the Russian school of cello, Mørk went on to study with the Russian cellist Natalia Shakhovskaya. In 1982, Mørk became the first Scandinavian musician to reach the finals of the International Tchaikovsky Competition, Tchaikovsky Competition in Moscow since Arto Noras in 1966, and won the sixth prize. Lukestar was an indie rock band based in Oslo, Norway. , the band was signed to the label 'Tuba Records', among others. They are known for their musical fusion of hardcore punk and indie rock. Biography The band was formed in 1995 under the name Luke Warm, but the name was later changed to Lukestar. In 2002, they released their first EP entitled ''Code: Distance,'' and two years later, in 2004, they released their debut full-length album ''Alpine Unit''. Truls Glesne (8 April 1916 – 28 August 1971) was a Norwegian economist and civil servant. He graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.oecon. degree in 1940. He worked as a secretary in the Ministry of Provisioning from 1941 to 1942, and spent the rest of the World War II years in the company G. C. Rieber. He was a consultant in the Norwegian Price Directorate from 1945 to 1946, in the Ministry of Justice from 1946 to 1948 and in the Ministry of Trade from 1948 to 1952. In 1952 he was hired in the Ministry of Finance, first as assistant secretary. Troels Harry (born 25 December 1990) is a Danish curler. He is a former world junior champion and current Danish champion. Career Harry has represented Denmark in four World Junior Championships. He played lead for Rasmus Stjerne in 2007 and 2008, finishing fourth and seventh, respectively. In 2009, Denmark, with Harry as lead under Stjerne, made the playoffs. They were defeated by Canada in the page 1 vs. 2 game, but rebounded with a win over the United States in the semifinal and defeated Canada in the final to win the gold medal. Harry played at the lead position under Mikkel Krause at the 2010 World Junior Curling Championships, but finished in eight place.
