Albert William Trueman
Albert William Trueman, OC, FRSC (January 17, 1902 – June 29, 1988) was a teacher, professor, cultural and university administrator. Early life Trueman was born in the United States, where his New Brunswick-born father John Main Trueman taught at the University of Connecticut between 1907 and 1913. The family lived in Bible Hill, Nova Scotia after 1913, where his father taught at the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. Trueman attended high school in Truro, Nova Scotia and graduated from Mount Allison University in 1927. He finished his Master of Arts degree in English Literature at Exeter College, Oxford University in 1932. Career Trueman was a high school teacher, and then became school superintendent in Saint John, New Brunswick. Arthur Elijah Trueman
Sir Arthur Elijah Trueman (26 April 1894 – 5 January 1956) was a British geologist. Life Trueman was born in Nottingham, the son of Elijah Trueman, a lacemaker, and his wife Thirza Newton Cottee. He was educated at High Pavement School in Nottingham from 1899 to 1911, then became a student teacher at Huntington Street School, Nottingham. He entered University College Nottingham in 1912 with a grant as a teacher in training, and studied Geology under H. H. Swinnerton, graduating B.Sc. with first-class honours in 1914. He gained a M.Sc in 1916 and doctorate ( D. Sc.) in 1918, all from University College Nottingham. Brian Trueman
Brian Trueman (born 16 May 1932) is an English broadcaster, writer and voice actor. He is known mainly for his work with the animation studio Cosgrove Hall. He wrote and/or narrated children's cartoon series, mostly during the 1970s and 1980s. Career Trueman's cartoons were originally shown on ITV, in its CITV programming slot. However, he also presented the BBC's children's film quiz ''Screen Test'', taking over from original host Michael Rodd between 1979 and 1983. Carl R. Trueman (born 1967) is a Christian theologian and ecclesiastical historian. He was Professor of Historical Theology and Church History at Westminster Theological Seminary, where he held the Paul Woolley Chair of Church History. Frederick Sewards Trueman, (6 February 1931 – 1 July 2006) was an English cricketer who played for Yorkshire County Cricket Club and the England cricket team. He had professional status and later became an author and broadcaster. Acknowledged as one of the greatest bowlers in cricket's history, Trueman deployed a genuinely fast pace and was widely known as "Fiery Fred". He was the first bowler to take 300 wickets in a Test career. Together with Brian Statham, he opened the England bowling for many years and they formed one of the most famous bowling partnerships in Test cricket history. Inez Trueman
Inez Geneva Trueman (April 8, 1917 – August 22, 2015) (née Gandrud) was a politician in Manitoba, Canada. She served as a Progressive Conservative member of the Manitoba legislature from 1969 to 1973, and later ran for the House of Commons of Canada. She was only the fifth woman ever to serve in the assembly. Trueman was born in Glenwood, Minnesota and educated at the Kahler School of Nursing in Rochester, Minnesota, and worked as a registered nurse. She married Kenneth Trueman, a physician and son of Walter Harley Trueman. She was the President of the Junior League of Winnipeg from 1951–52. Trueman served as a city councillor in Winnipeg from 1968 to 1969. Mark Trueman (born 7 February 1988) is an English football coach and former player who is assistant manager at Bradford City. Early life Trueman was born in Bradford, West Yorkshire. Playing career Trueman played youth football for Bradford City, and in non-league football as a midfielder for Ossett Town, Guiseley, Ossett Albion, Harrogate Railway Athletic, Thackley, Brighouse Town and Eccleshill United.
