True Defiance
''True Defiance'' is the sixth studio album by American Christian metal band Demon Hunter. It was released April 10, 2012. Production work for the album comes from regular Solid State and Tooth & Nail Producer Aaron Sprinkle while mixing was finished by Jason Suecof. The album also returns to utilizing three different cover arts specific to each version of the album, much like what the band did with their third album '' The Triptych''. It is also their first album since '' The Triptych'' not to feature any guest artists. Background "This record is without a doubt our most aggressive. Every Demon Hunter record must be a step up from the last. I know that's a goal for every band, but it seldom works that way - especially today, especially in metal. It seems like most band's prime years are long behind them. I refuse to let that be the case for us. A string orchestra is an orchestra consisting solely of a string section made up of the bowed strings used in Western Classical music. Chris Carmichael (musician)
Chris Carmichael is a musician and arranger born in San Antonio, Texas on July 6, 1962. The son of an Air Force fighter pilot, he moved extensively before taking up the violin while living in Hampton, Virginia. After moving to Bowling Green, Kentucky in 1975, he entered into more formal training - studying violin with Western Kentucky University professor Betty Pease (a former student of Ivan Galamian) for eight years. Timothy "Yogi" Watts is an American musician, best known as the drummer for the Christian metal band Demon Hunter since 2004. He was the fourth drummer for The Showdown, original drummer for The Lonely Hearts (originally named Holland), and fill-in drummer for Throwdown as well as The Becoming. Ryan Clark (born June 23, 1979) is an American graphic designer and musician who also has performed under the stage name Maven. He is best known as the lead vocalist of the Christian metal band Demon Hunter, which he co-founded with his brother, guitarist Don Clark.
