True Blood (film)
''True Blood'' is a 1989 American action-drama film written and directed by Frank Kerr and starring Jeff Fahey, Chad Lowe and Sherilyn Fenn. Plot Teenager Ray Trueblood (Fahey) is wrongfully accused of murdering a police officer after his fellow gang member Billy Masters (Drago) does the deed. Hoping to elude the police, he flees Brooklyn, NY and joins the U.S. Marines. Returning 10 years later, Trueblood is dismayed to learn that his younger brother Donny (Lowe) is now running with a gang led by Masters. Trueblood soon finds himself depending on his military training & experience to protect his friends and family from the ruthless Masters. Robert LaSardo is an American character actor. Early life LaSardo was born in Brooklyn, New York. He began his career studying at the High School of Performing Arts in New York City where he became an honors student, before attending the Stella Adler Studio of Acting. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy. For two of those years, he handled Navy attack dogs in the Aleutian Islands. Career LaSardo started his acting career in 1987 with the independent film ''China Girl'' by Abel Ferrara. Brodie Haldeman Greer (born October 26, 1949) is a former American actor, best known for his role as Officer Barry "Bear" Baricza on ''CHiPs''. Early life Greer was raised in Pacific Palisades, Los Angeles, California. He studied at Santa Monica Junior College and San Jose State University. At San Jose State, Greer played at safety for the San Jose State Spartans football team from 1969 to 1971. William Eugene Burrows (November 30, 1945 – June 24, 2019), known professionally by his stage name Billy Drago, was an American television and film actor. Jeffrey David Fahey (, born November 29, 1952) is an American film and television actor. He has portrayed Captain Frank Lapidus on the ABC series ''Lost'' and the title role of Deputy Marshal Winston MacBride on ''The Marshal''. Early life and education Fahey was born in Olean, New York, the sixth of 13 siblings in an Irish American family. His mother, Jane, was a homemaker, and his father, Frank Fahey, worked at a clothing store. Fahey was raised in Buffalo, New York, from the age of ten and attended Father Baker's high school there. Fahey left home at the age of 17, subsequently hitchhiking to Alaska. He later backpacked through Europe, and worked on an Israeli kibbutz. ''Variety Film Reviews'' is the 24-volume hardcover reprint of feature film reviews by the weekly entertainment tabloid-size magazine ''Variety'' from 1907 to 1996. Film reviews continued to be published in the weekly magazine after the reprints were discontinued.
