Trudie Goodwin
Trudie Goodwin (born 13 November 1951) is an English actress best known for playing Sergeant June Ackland in the high-profile British television police drama ''The Bill'' from 1983 to 2007, and Georgia Sharma in the ITV soap ''Emmerdale'', from 2011 until 2015. Career Goodwin had appeared in ''The Bill'' since its pilot, " Woodentop", which was part of the storyboard plays for Thames TV in 1983. However, in September 2005, Goodwin announced she would be leaving the serial drama, stating "it was time to move on". She also took a sabbatical from the show lasting several months in 2005 in order to pursue other interests which included charity work in Nigeria with CBM. Gertrude Alice Lamb-Richmond (; August 5, 1931 – April 26, 2021) was an American educator and author belonging to the Schaghticoke Tribal Nation. She was involved in Native American educational and political issues. Biography Lamb-Richmond was born on August 5, 1931 in Bridgeport, Connecticutas the eldest daughter of Margaret (née Cogswell) and John Ray Jr. She was raised in the Schaghticoke reservation in northwestern Connecticut, Her storytelling and teachings are shared among other tribal members in southern New England. Trudie Lang is a Professor of Global Health Research at the University of Oxford. She specialises in clinical trials research capacity building in low-resource setting, and helped to organise the trial for the drug brincidofovir during the 2014 Ebola virus outbreak. Education and career Lang started her career working in pharmaceutical companies, including Syntex Pharmaceuticals and Glaxosmithkline. She later worked in Kenya as head of the Kilifi Clinical Trial Facility at the KEMRI-Wellcome Trust Research Programme. Trudie Styler (born 6 January 1954) is an English actress and film producer. Early life and family Styler was born in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire, the daughter of Pauline and Harry Styler, a farmer and factory worker. When Styler was two years old, she was hit by a van. She received severe facial injuries that left her badly scarred and required several plastic surgery operations up until the age of 18.
