Trucks were a short-lived British/Norwegian pop punk band, whose most popular release was the 2002 novelty single, "It's Just Porn Mum". The single was a top-five hit in Norway, and peaked at No. 35 on the UK Singles Chart. Its music video starred Ron Jeremy. Pop Punk
Pop punk (or punk pop) is a rock music genre that combines elements of punk rock with power pop or pop. Olav Iversen
Olav Iversen (born September 23, 1977, in Sandøy, Møre og Romsdal) is a Norwegian heavy metal singer-songwriter and musician. He is better known as a founding member and the guitarist, lead vocalist, and primary songwriter of the rock band Sahg, as well as its only constant member. Musical career Iversen's remarkable career began with Trucks, a British/Norwegian pop punk band, whose most popular release was the 2002 novelty single, "It's Just Porn Mum". The single was a Top 5 hit in Norway, and peaked at No. 35 in the UK Singles Chart. He's best known for being the only constant member and co-founder of the hard rock band Sahg in 2004, along with Tom Cato Visnes ( King ov Hell), Einar Selvik (Kvitrafn) and Thomas Tofthagen. Iversen has also been an active member in several bands in his country, as Audrey Horne and Manngard. Novelty Song
A novelty song is a type of song built upon some form of novel concept, such as a gimmick, a piece of humor, or a sample of popular culture. "2-4-6-8 Motorway" is a song by Tom Robinson. It was released as a single in 1977 by British punk rock/ new wave group the Tom Robinson Band, and reached No. 5 in the UK Singles Chart. Song information The music and lyrics were written by Tom Robinson. The song was the first single released by the Tom Robinson Band, who had formed in January 1977 and was signed to EMI in August 1977. Robinson wrote the song between leaving Café Society in 1976 and forming the Tom Robinson Band the following year, at a time when he was performing with whichever friends were available on the night; thus, the song had to be simple enough to learn in a few minutes. Robinson came up with the tune 'trying to work out the chords to Climax Blues Band's "Couldn't Get It Right"' which he could not really remember.
