Truck Eagan
Charles Eugene "Truck" Eagan (August 10, 1877 – March 19, 1949) was a Major League Baseball infielder who played in 1901 with the Pittsburgh Pirates and the Cleveland Blues. He batted and threw right-handed. Eagan had a .133 career batting average. For his long career in the minor leagues, where he had 1,830 hits and 105 home runs, Eagan was elected to the Pacific Coast League Hall of Fame. An infielder is a baseball player stationed at one of four defensive "infield" positions on the baseball field. Standard arrangement of positions In a game of baseball, two teams of nine players take turns playing offensive and defensive roles. Although there are many rules to baseball, in general the team playing offense tries to score runs by batting balls into the field that enable runners to make a complete circuit of the four bases.
