''Truce(s)'' ( es, Tregua(s), links=no) is a 2023 drama film written and directed by Mario Hernández which stars Salva Reina and Bruna Cusí. Plot The plot tracks the long-running closeted relationship between actress Ara and screenwriter Edu, who meet up again during the Málaga Film Festival. Cast Production ''Tregua(s)'' is a Godello Entertainment, Producciones La Cochera, Sierra Gador Producciones, and The Lobby production. Shooting locations included Málaga and Madrid. Release The film had its world premiere at the 26th Málaga Film Festival, being presented on 11 March 2023. Its festival run also included screenings at the Ibicine Ibiza Festival, and the . Salvador "Salva" Reina (born 9 April 1978) is a Spanish actor and stand-up comedian, often referred to in the industry by the nickname 'Chuki'. He became known for performances in television series such as '' Allí abajo'' and ''Sabuesos'' or the film ''Marshland''. Biography Born in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria in 1978, he was raised in Málaga. He studied a degree in Sport Sciences in Granada. He landed his debut in a feature film with a role in Enrique García's '' 321 Days in Michigan'', playing an inmate. The 26th Málaga Film Festival took place from 10 to 19 March 2023 in Málaga, Andalusia, Spain. '' 20,000 Species of Bees '' and '' Sister & Sister'' won the Golden Biznaga for, respectively, Best Spanish Film and Best Ibero-American Film. The festival opening gala in on 10 March 2023 was hosted by Elena Sánchez and Marta Hazas with Raphael as special guest and Vanesa Martín, Miguel Poveda, Natalia Lacunza, and Diana Navarro as musical acts.
