Troy Makepeace
Troy Makepeace (born 6 March 1979) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the North Melbourne Kangaroos in the Australian Football League. Drafted by the Kangaroos in the 6th round of the 1999 AFL Draft, Makepeace made his AFL debut in 2000 and was a key player in their back line for many years. In 2005, he represented Australia in the International Rules Series. The following season, Makepeace found his playing time limited, playing just 12 games. At the end of the year, he was delisted by the Kangaroos. Not picked up by an AFL club, Makepeace played for the VFL's Casey Scorpions in 2007. Makepeace then returned to the club he was originally plucked from, the Moe Lions, and was captain-coach of the club from 2008 to 2011. Moe ( ) is a town in the Latrobe Valley in the Gippsland region of Victoria, Australia. It is approximately east of the central business district of Melbourne, due south of the peak of Mount Baw Baw in the Great Dividing Range and features views of the Baw Baw Ranges to the north and Strzelecki Ranges to the south. Hazelwood North is a locality in Victoria, Australia. It has a population of 1220 (as of the 2006 census). Max Cranwell, who died in a 2009 plane crash in Papua New Guinea, resided in Hazelwood North until his death. Hazelwood North is so named due to its geographical orientation from the town "Hazelwood" - now known as Churchill, Victoria. Heath Shaw (born 27 November 1985) is a former Australian rules footballer who played for the Collingwood Football Club and the Greater Western Sydney Giants in the Australian Football League (AFL). Heath grew up in Diamond Creek and played junior sport for Diamond Creek Football Club and Diamond Creek Cricket Club.
