Gustave Trouvé
Gustave Pierre Trouvé (2 January 1839 – 27 July 1902) was a French electrical engineer and inventor in the 19th century. Trouvé was born on 2 January 1839 in La Haye-Descartes (Indre-et-Loire, France) and died on 27 July 1902 in Paris. A polymath, he was highly respected for his innovative skill in miniaturization. Youth Gustave Trouvé was born into a modest family, his father, Jacques Trouvé, was a cattle dealer. In 1850, he studied to be a locksmith in Chinon College, then in 1854-55 at the École des Arts et Métiers in Angers. His studies incomplete through poor health, he left his local region for Paris where he obtained a job with a clockmaker. Rudy Trouvé
Rudy Trouvé (born 28 January 1967 in Wilrijk) is a Belgian musician from Antwerp. In the early nineties he founded the Heavenhotel record label and released dozens of records since. Between 1993 and 1995 he was part of Deus, quitting the band in favour of focusing on his own solo career, exploring obscure music groups and temporary collaborations. Since 1995, he scored most success with Kiss My Jazz and Dead Man Ray, and recorded a split album with Lou Barlow on the Sub Rosa label. Rudy Trouvé is regarded highly as an improvisor; in jam sessions and experimental concerts he has shared the stage with Mauro Pawlowski, Zeitkratzer Ensemble (Germany), Marc Ribot (US), Pierre Bastien, Pierre Berthet, members of DAAU, Zita Swoon, among others. Tatiana Trouvé
Tatiana Trouvé (born 4 August 1968) is a contemporary Italian visual artist based in Paris who works in large-scale installations, sculptures, and drawings. Trouvé is the recipient of numerous awards including the Paul Ricard Prize (2001), Marcel Duchamp Prize (2007), ACACIA Prize (2014), and Rosa Schapire Kunstpreis (2019). Trouvé has taught at the École nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris since 2019. Early life and education Born in Cosenza, Italy, to an Italian mother and a French father, Trouvé spent her early childhood in Italy and her adolescence in Dakar, Senegal, where her father taught architecture. After studying at the Villa Arson in Nice, France where she graduated in 1989, she spent two years in residence at Atelier 63 in the Netherlands before eventually settling in Paris in 1995.
