Trnova (Cyrillic alphabet, Cyrillic: Трнова) is a populated location near the town of Ugljevik, in the Republika Srpska zone of Bosnia-Herzegovina. It is divided between Gornja Trnova, where in 1991 nearly all residents were Serbs, and Srednja Trnova, where in the same year most were Bosniaks. Trnová is a municipality and village in Prague-West District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 600 inhabitants. Etymology The adjective ''trnová'' (i.e. 'thorny') referred to a hillside where there were many thorny bushes. Geography Trnová is located about south of Prague. It lies in the Benešov Uplands. Dobříš (; german: Doberschisch) is a town in Příbram District in the Central Bohemian Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 8,700 inhabitants. It is located south of Prague, and it is a part of the Prague metropolitan area. Administrative parts The village of Trnová is an administrative part of Dobříš.
