Tristan Lecomte
Tristan Lecomte (born October 1973 in Reims) is the founder of Alter Eco and PUR Projet. Biography Born in Reims in 1973, to a military father and an English teacher mother, he graduated from HEC Paris in 1996. In the same years, in 1993, he created the Solidarité France Nepal association, a law student association. from 1901 for humanitarian purposes. He made his debut at L'Oréal in South Korea. In 1998, he founded Alter Eco, a pioneering fair trade and organic brand, and succeeded in having it distributed by Monoprix. He led the company from 1998 to 2011. From 2007, he launched projects via agroforestry. This approach led him to found PUR Projet in 2008, a company which develops projects for the regeneration and preservation of ecosystems in partnership with local communities, and supports companies using the Insetting approach, which consists of compensating within even from its value chain all the impacts of its activity linked to sustainable development. Reims
Reims ( , , ; also spelled Rheims in English) is the most populous city in the French department of Marne, and the 12th most populous city in France. The city lies northeast of Paris on the Vesle river, a tributary of the Aisne. Founded by the Gauls, Reims became a major city in the Roman Empire.
