Trishan Holder
Trishan Holder (born 8 November 2003) is a Barbadian cricketer who currently plays for Barbados and the West Indies. She plays as a right-handed batter. Domestic career Holder made her debut for Barbados on 18 June 2022, against Jamaica in the Women's Super50 Cup. She went on to play three matches in the tournament as her side won the title. International career In August 2022, Barbados competed in the cricket tournament at the Commonwealth Games as the representative of the West Indies, with their matches holding international status. Holder was named in Barbados' squad for the Games, and made her Twenty20 International debut in the side's first match of the competition, against Pakistan. She went on to play all three of the side's matches in the competition, scoring 6 runs in her two innings. Fast bowling (also referred to as pace bowling) is one of two main approaches to bowling in the sport of cricket, the other being spin bowling. Practitioners of pace bowling are usually known as ''fast'' bowlers, ''quicks'', or ''pacemen''. 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup
The 2023 ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup was the first edition of the ICC Women's Under-19 Cricket World Cup, hosted by South Africa in 2023. The tournament was moved from its original slot at the end of 2021 to January 2023 because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Sixteen teams competed in the tournament, initially divided into four groups. India, England, Australia and New Zealand progressed to the semi-finals of the competition. In the semi-finals, India beat New Zealand by 8 wickets and England beat Australia by 3 runs. The final took place on 29 January 2023 at Senwes Park, Potchefstroom, and saw India beat England by 7 wickets to become the inaugural champions of the ICC Under-19 Women's T20 World Cup. Cricket is a bat-and-ball game played between two teams of eleven players on a field at the centre of which is a pitch with a wicket at each end, each comprising two bails balanced on three stumps. The 2023 ICC Women's T20 World Cup is scheduled to be the eighth edition of ICC Women's T20 World Cup tournament. It is scheduled to be held in South Africa, from 10 to 26 February 2023. Australia are the defending champions. The England women's cricket team toured the West Indies in December 2022 to play three Women's One Day Internationals (WODIs) and five Women's Twenty20 Internationals (WT20Is). The Pakistan women's national cricket team, also known as Green Shirts or Women in Green, represents Pakistan in international women's cricket.
