Triptii Dimri (born 23 February 1994) is an Indian actress who works in Bollywood, Hindi films. She made her acting debut in the comedy film ''Poster Boys'' (2017) and had her first lead role in the romantic drama ''Laila Majnu (2018 film), Laila Majnu'' (2018). She gained critical recognition for her performances in Anvita Dutt's period films ''Bulbbul'' (2020) and ''Qala (film), Qala'' (2022), with the former earning her a Filmfare OTT Awards, Filmfare OTT Award. Dimri was featured in ''Forbes, Forbes Asia'' Forbes 30 Under 30, 30 Under 30 list of 2021. She gained popularity with a supporting role in the top-grossing action film ''Animal (2023 Indian film), Animal'' (2023), earning a nomination for the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress. Animal (2023 Indian Film)
''Animal'' is a 2023 Indian Hindi-language action drama film co-written, directed and edited by Sandeep Reddy Vanga and produced by T-Series Films, Bhadrakali Pictures and Cine1 Studios. The film stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandanna and Triptii Dimri. The film follows a powerful industrialist's ruthless and hardened son and his troubled relationship with his father, which gets further jeopardized as he sets out on a path of vengeance and destruction after an attempt on his father's life. The film was officially announced in January 2021. Principal photography began in April 2022 and wrapped by April 2023, with cinematography by Amit Roy.
