Trindade and Martim Vaz ( pt, Trindade e Martim Vaz, ) is an archipelago located in the South Atlantic Ocean about east of the coast of the Brazilian state of Espírito Santo, of which it forms a part. Trindade, Goiás
Trindade () is a city and municipality in Goiás state, Brazil. It is famous for the religious celebrations held there in July and is now the third most important pilgrimage site in Brazil. On the west side of the city is a purpose-built raceway where, in 2014, the city hosted a MotoCross World Championship, Grand Prix race. Trindade is part of the Goiânia Microregion, which has over one million six hundred thousand inhabitants. Armando Trindade
Armando Trindade (born 25 October 1927 in Karachi, British India (now Pakistan)) studied at St Patrick's High School, Karachi. He received his religious training at the Papal Seminary, Kandy, Sri Lanka and was ordained a priest on 6 May 1950. He undertook graduate studies at Oxford University in England, and then attended Stanford University in the United States for his doctoral degree. Until 1962 he was principal of the St Lawrence's Boys High School in Karachi. He went on to become principal of St Paul's English High School where he remained until 1973. He also edited Christian Voice, Karachi the archdiocesan weekly. On 5 July 1973 Pope Paul VI appointed him Auxiliary Bishop of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Lahore, Pakistan. On 10 July 1975 he was appointed Bishop of Lahore and on 23 April 1994 was appointed Archbishop of Lahore. He has also been president of the Catholic Bishops' Conference of Pakistan. History The modern metro station was built on the site of the former Trindade railway station, which was the central terminus for services to Porto from Trofa, Póvoa do Varzim and the Guimarães line. Trindade was also the main entry point for the tunnelling machine which excavated the tunnels for Line D in central Porto. Services It is the only station where Lines A, B, C, E and F (which run as one line within the metropolitan area) intersect with Line D.
