Trinidad Navarro is an American politician who is the Delaware Insurance Commissioner and previously served as New Castle County Sheriff. He is a Democrat. Education and career Navarro received his associate's degree from Delaware Technical Community College. He later earned a BA from Wilmington University and served as a police officer for New Castle County for over 20 years. In 2010, he was elected New Castle County Sheriff. The ''Newark Post'' is a local newspaper for the city of Newark, Delaware. It features local news, crime reports, and a section on events at local schools and at the University of Delaware. The ''Newark Post'' was founded in 1910, by Everett C. Johnson who later went on to become Secretary of State of Delaware. The first issue came out on January 26. New Castle County is the northernmost of the three counties of the U.S. state of Delaware (New Castle, Kent, and Sussex). John Carney (politician)
John Charles Carney Jr. (born May 20, 1956) is an American politician serving as the 74th governor of Delaware since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, Carney served as the U.S. representative for from 2011 to 2017 and as the 24th lieutenant governor of Delaware from 2001 to 2009. He also served as Delaware's secretary of finance from 1996 to 2000. He first unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for governor in 2008, losing to Jack Markell.
